This device, coupled with an F3 chip module, is all you will need to recalibrate Ford pre-2005. The Jaybird plugs into the mini-USB on one side and the F3 modules on the other. It takes the place of a chip burner and J3 port adapter (it IS a chip burner with native J3 interface). This device will NOT read stock ECUs, but you can usually download the binary from the internet. If you need to read stock ECUs, you'll still want to look at the BURN2+F2A+F2E.
